I have windows 7 on my pc but i have no disc or anything it is a legit version of windows but im thinking of building a pc and was wondering if there is a way to move it from on pc to another other than putting hdd in new pc which i dont want to do as one its on a hdd and it is ancient as its on a hdd and not a ssd

What you want to do is go to this link:

And save the page as: get-win7-productkey.vbs
MAKE SURE IT ENDS IN .VBS AND NOT .TXT

Double click the file to run it on your desktop / where you saved it and it will give you your WINDOWS 7 ONLY PRODUCT KEY.

This key will not work for windows 10, you need to install windows 7 then upgrade.
