    Hi all,
Looking to change the power steering fluid in an Almera.

Can't see anything online how to do it. Anyone any idea? Straight forward job?

    Thanks

Do you actually need to do it though?

Hasn't been changed in a long time. High pitching noise coming from the engine that increases when I turn the wheel, and theres a slight knocking noise on full lock either side.

I had a look at the reservoir and the fluid actually looks rusty brown, like what you'd find in an old radiator.

There's a YouTube video on it for an almera

I can only find one for a Nissan Quest!

I've changed it before in that I siphoned out the fluid and refilled it, but I'm sure there's still a lot left in the hoses. Woukd I be better off draining it like that, run the pumo for a while and flush it all out again?

Do you have the link? I can't find it at all on YouTube. I've searched for it and getting every video bar the Almera!
