    I'm after drilling a hole too big.i have to use this hole but the screws are falling out. What can I do to rectify it? Please help. P'S it's wood I'm drilling into

    Cut and shape a small plug of wood to match the hole, but slightly oversize and glue it in place with PVA. When dry pare flush with surface using a sharp chisel. Now drill your (smaller) hole in the plug and you're good to go!

    Also try splinters of wood or matches to reduce the diameter of the drilled hole. Although Rawl plugs do work best
