Stolen Rads

    Hi,

I'm interested in buying a house where most of the radiators have been stolen. This involved the pipes being cut rather than the rads being unscrewed. What will be involved when fixing the pipes? Will the floors need to be dug up or is the process simpler than that? How much should I budget for with regard to fixing the pipes?

    Thanks,

    Barry

That depends. How much of the pipes are still left above floor level? Are they copper, plastic, gun barrel? How fussed about aesthetics are you? How many radiators were stolen? Will you be buying the materials yourself ?

You could go for the boy racer look and have the rads lowered to the floor.
