Chainring question

My trusty commute got a bit of a bang and the Middle chainring is damaged. It's an old deore xt triple (5 arm 110 bcd) running on a 7sp block. I have searched high and low for 7/8sp rings and they are hard to get. Would this ultegra 6750 ring work with 7/8sp chain?…

If the chainring you have is bent, you could try straightening it with an adjustable spanner - the jaws are quite wide and have no serrations to damage the teeth on the ring (unlike pliers)

Thanks but its never going to run straight again. It's not got a lot of life in it anyway so I will at some stage need to replace it.
