What does "i bhfabhar" and "i gcoinne

    Doing a debate in school, I'm pretty sure i gcoinne is against and i bhfabhar is for, just making sure

    I think i bhfabhar is "in favor" and igcoinne is "against" :)

    Thanks thats what I thought, I have been wrong a couple times but I'm pretty sure thats it:cool:

    Just to give you some other options, you can also use "ar son" (for) and "in aghaidh" (against).

    These are useful for avoiding repetition and for showing off your wide vocabulary to an examiner. ;)
