No hot water

    Hi all,

Wondering if someone can help with a problem I have in our house at the moment. I came home from work the other night and turned on the hot water tap in the kitchen but no hot water came out. Cold working fine.

I checked the other tap in the downstairs toilet and had the same result (same with all taps upstairs). We had this issue before where the power shower uses all the water up in the tank and an air bubble is caught in the system. To fix this I would cover the tap in the kitchen from flowing and turn on the cold tap and the hot tap together to force out the air bubble and this usually did the trick but this time it is not.

I got up into the attic and the water tank is refilling fine so its not that. The odd thing is that I turn on the hot tap forgetting it isn't working for it to work for about a minute and stops again??

Any ideas before I call out a plumber?
