Hi guys, I'll be visiting and staying one night in Athlone in a few weeks. I'm just looking for ideas on what to see/do and any recommendations on a night out...is there any bars that would have trad sessions on a Saturday night? Thanks

See the castle, do a boat trip if they're still on. Pavarotti's does very good and very cheap Italian food. Lots of bars down that area by the castle as well.
