I'm looking to upgrade. drove a 131 Hyundai I40 Executive over the weekend and I think I've fallen in love. I had no interest cause hadn't been planning on spending as much and only going up to a 12, but when dealer gave me the keys and told me to take a spin anyway...(I WANT IT :) )
Have to put about 9k with my car I'm trading in. what do ppl think of the i40 ?
    Good/bad points?

I'm aware the mileage is meant to be pretty poor on them. Did a few calcs of how much extra a year I'd spend on Diesel, and I think I'll get over it.

Is it manual or auto. Auto tax is €570 I think.

Have you driven other cars from the same class? The I40 doesn't stack up too well against the competition in terms of interior fit and finish and overall driving experience IMO.

The i40 is quite an attractive looking car A friend drives a new one and is delighted with it. They appear to be making inroads in the fleet market .Makes a change from the VW Passat , Toyota Avensi.s
Curiously the i40's predecessor ,Hyundai Sonata never sold in the same numbers. Ironically the i40 is still badged as a Sonata in the US.

Yea I've driven the Mondeo & Passat, but I'm not a fan of Ford at all. And with current unknowns I don't want to go near vw.

I've heard complaints of pulling to the left which no amount of alignment or tracking can fix and Hyundai have washed their hands off so check this out before buying.
