Always found the Aldi gear fine*, the compression tops are great for winter. Got two back in 2011 and still going strong..

*with exception of shorts that I bought, they were awful. I've never tried the shoes.

The rigger boots might be good for some weighted sprint training :-)

All I ever bought in Aldi from the running range was the socks and they do me a good 12 months on rotation, I do about 20 miles a week. Its handy having 4 or 5 pairs that are all the same style/ colour!

Had a pair of compression tights for Winter from Aldi, only worn them once but they are decent enough.

Led lighted baton for practising baton changing techniques for the relay in these dark evenings seems expensive at 34.99.

I think the British 4 X 100 team just bought their full supply of stock anyway.

Same as others, the socks are perfect and are exclusively all I use; I generally stock up whenever they come around.

I bought the jacket once, and not suprisingly, it was like wearing a plastic bag. Awful sweaty and not a hint of breathability.

Have a few tech tees which are fine too.

Bought a few of their technical tee shirts and I find them good as is their socks and compression tops. I also bought a couple of jackets. One was really, really light, not sure if its any use at all. The other was kinda heavy. Its not too back in bad weather but not very breathable.

Might pop into them this evening and see what left actually.
