Towing a Freelander

    Hi , I am towing a freelander about 20 miles, its 4wd manual. will there be any problems doing this ?

    You should disconnect the rear prop shaft if you are. Those reduction drive units are hard enough to get.

    yea, was told that by a mate but just wanted to make sure, gonna be bigger job than I thought :rolleyes:

    but arent Toyota the best built cars in the world ! ??? :-) Surely it wouldnt be a prob for a Yaris !

    Doesn't matter who makes the car towing it with the rear drive shaft connected will do damage. I doubt that a Yaris is plated to tow that much.
