How strict are Dublin's pubs and clubs

Basically, I'm going up to Dublin for a concert and planning on heading out while we're up there.I use a friends id while im going out where im from and get in no bother.All of my friends and me are 17.do you reckon we'd be let in to clubs if we all have ids that look similar to us.
