Hi I temporarily signed off dole last Monday as I taught I had a job for the next 3 months. Friday I was told its my last day as I wasn't suitable for the work fair enough but when I asked for a letter stating that I had finished to resign on I was told that it can take up to a month. I went to the dole to let them know I finished up but they can't lift payment until they get the letter from the employer is there anything I can do as I can't survive on thin air for the month.

Apply for supplementary welfare allowance with your community welfare officer.
