    Hi,
I have a 4 zone programmable heating systemlink set up thats in about 5 years, hot water is on a separate dial controller.
Last night 1 of the upstairs zones came on and stayed on constantly even though the zone was not timed to come on. In fact, I could see that the boiler was firing and the rads were roasting but the zone on the programmable controller was not lit up (which shows that its called on by the timer). I was able to turn all of the TRV's to xero which stopped the rads heating at least, the zones each have a Thermostat set to around 20/21 yet the rooms in question were up to 24 degs.
The plumber who did the install is gone so I'll have to get another plumber in to have a look but thought I'd ask the question here first and see if anyone has an idea of the problem.
    Cheers,
    Clint

    Is there motorised valves anywhere?

Yes I think there is one on each zone, would that make sense?

    Yes. I'd say it's a faulty MV
