    Recently heard about gps tracking for sheep and cows. Wondering what peoples views are on this

    Well if someone cuts the GPS tag out of the animals ear it will be no good and another expense on farmers.

    I think a bolus or electronic chip in the animal is the best solution but as technology improves something else will probably be better.

    Would be very useful in commonage farming. would easily have lost 50 odd animals over the years where they just disappear.
    At least if it was cut out, you would know they were stolen.
