    Hey,
Looking at entering the world of TT and looking at 2nd hand market.
Came across this bike, no wheels, pedals or saddle.
What price would lads put on this, its hitting 2100 on the ribble site and its 3 years old.
Its in the UK so I will have to get it shipped over.
    Any comment appreciated.

i would say £800 is not a great price for that.........

Honestly without wheels, the added cost of delivery and with the exchange rate as it is i reckon there is better value out there unless you could get it for far less than £800.

There is an ebay seller in Co Down who usually has some high end tt bikes
    Currently has this$_57.JPG
Priced at £1175 but will accept offers on that

Thanks lads, what you think its worth?
No harm making an offer, but dont want to insult that lad.

Another boardsie mentioned saleability, Ribble not sought after?

Must have a look at that other lad in eBay.

Honestly maybe £600-650. Definitely try and stay below €1000 all in.
At this stage in the year, you wont get much use from the bike so best to sit tight and watch the usual sources boards, adverts , donedeal, ebay and timetriallingforum.co.uk. Triathletes tend to have a high turnover of bikes or leave the sport after a couple of years so keep an eye on the boards triathlon forum.
in the meantime try and get a feel for the geometry exact size frame you will require (ask friends, clubmates, triathletes etc.
With regards saleability of course the ribble is not as desirable as a cervelo but generally the depreciation for second hand bikes levels out after 2-3 years so if you were to sell it on after a couple of years you wuld not be taking much of a further hit.

Not connected with the seller but there is a Cervelo P2C frameset with chainset listed on adverts that would represent much better value. Currently priced at €1250 but it adverts so you could always negotiate
