Port 1069

    Hey all

I am trying to use Cognex Insight Explorer, and that requires a connection to Port 1069, but when I run the application, I get an error saying that 'The Insight logon server failed to bind to TCP Port 1069. Another application may be erroneously using this port'.
How can I find out which application is using the port, so I can remove it, and hopefully fix the issue.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Jon

Netstat will also give you a list of all ports been used on your pc. Just type it into command prompt.

If that doesnt show anything Disable windows firewall and your antivirus and see if the app works then..
