    Hi folks,

Any idea if this very pink bike is worth anything? Steel, pink, Harry Quinn......

Haven't seen it in the flesh in a few years but you can be pretty sure it's in great nick.

thanks for any and all advice.

Harry Quinn a relatively well known English frame bulder with a solid reputation.
Due to lack of Braze ons etc looks to me a pre 85 frame.
Dont recognise the chainset ? a stronglight and brakes look like mafac's
Don't see a label re tubing but suspect 531
Condition makes me suspect its been resprayed

It has a value but probably not as high as you would hope
I'd say 250-300 although if you got the a buyer who was keen maybe as much as 400

    Thanks Robfowl,

No real hope of a value truth be told. It's my uncle's old bike, he passed away a while back and his wife is clearing out the attic. I think it was his training bike back in the day. It survived a theft on their garage when his prized Peugeot race bike was nicked, along with a few more modern bikes, probably because it had no wheels on it!

Anyway, I'll pop in and get a few more details and see if anyone might be interested when I have them. I'd take it for sentimental value but I haven't time to ride the bikes I already have at the moment, and n+1 would probably lead to divorce!

    cheers

If you were to sell I'd sell it via cycling weekly or through an "eroica" or similar themed site.
From that history I'd be fairly sure its a 531 or so and possibly an original paint job in very good nick.

This is not a forum for "testing the water" and getting other posters to do your homework for you
