I'm looking to replace a second laptop that I currently have.

I've been searching for a while now for something 8Gb (as i find the current 4Gb that I have to be quite slow when browsing particularly with multiple tabs).

Really just looking to carry out various office/work tasks with no gaming etc, but generally have multiple browser tabs/sessions open along with various documents etc.

I came across this. It looks to be ok, but as I havent bought a laptop in a few years I'd be grateful for some independent advice (aka, tear it to shreds if you have to!)

    Thanks

Looks like a good deal - Lenovo make good kit and this appears to be ideal for what you want.

If you're doing a lot of documentation, a 1366x768 screen probably won't cut it and it won't look nice on a 1715inch panel. A desktop replacement with a 1920x1080 screen would probably make more sense.

The amount of RAM you have doesn't really affect your speed for anything.

Just look for something with an SSD (flash hard drive).
