Buses from Bergamo Airport to Milan on day of travel ?

    Hi. Would anyone have any recent information on the buses that go from Bergamo airport to Milan city. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of how easy it is to get a bus ticket on the day when you arrive at Bergamo airport? Are there big queues ? And how much is it to just buy a ticket for cash on the day.

    (a lot of the websites I checked out want you to book in advance and select a sepcific time for the bus, but I don't want to do that in case the flight is delayed).

    Would be grateful to hear from anyone who knows Bergamo airport and how to get the bus from there to Milan.

    Hi,
    I was in in Bergamo airport last weekend. You'll have no problem getting a bus outside the terminal that will take you straight to Milan Centrale train station. There are a good few bus companies, all around the same price E5 one way. Return might be a bit cheaper but to be honest we normally just arrive at the train station bus stop and see what bus is leaving next and take that instead of waiting around for a particular company.
    It normally takes around 40 mins into Milan if the traffic is good, if traffic is bad it can take a lot longer obviously. It really depends on whether your traveling at peak times or not. Just leave plenty of time before your flight to be safe.
