Does changing language invalidate the licence on W7? I was given a laptop with W7 in French & did a full reinstall with my W7 retail disc using the key on the laptop. Now 2 months later I'm getting “Not Genuine” message.

Have you tried running the activation again?

Strictly speaking, the OEM licence only allows you to use the language that the OS came with, unless it's Windows 7 Enterprise or Ultimate.

Yeah windows oem is one language only. OEM is the key on the laptop.
