Morning all, I was just wondering if you can get a rear wing (aero kit) removed from a carrera S easily and cheaply?

It will either be bolted on or bonded on if bonded on it will need to be cut off with windscreen wire

Fairly sure they are bolted. As a result, you will be left with holes if you remove it. It's not a straightforward on/off unless the cosmetics don't concern the OP.

Its the cosmetics that would want me to remove it. I would love the car, but I just couldn't stomach driving around with that stuck on the back of it.

Same process with most cars, most of them will be bolted from the underside. One its removed the holes are there which of course can be filled, primed and painted but being honest I wouldn't want to be doing that to a 911.

Might be best sourcing a replacement tailgate from a model that does not have the wing. I wouldn't want to make a permanent alteration. It might not be your cup of tea but I can bet the next buyer wants the wing on their Carrera S.

This one ticks all the boxes bar the spoiler. I will have to keep looking. Cheers lads.

Its just not me, each to their own I guess. The inside of all the others I have viewed have a horrible red leather interior, this was the first I seen which has a nice interior.
