Generally once you start getting a strong burnt taste constantly or when the taste of the juice becomes unpleasant. There is no right or wrong amount of time to use a coil for. Some people it'll last a few days, others a month or more.

Really differs a lot depending on which type and also liquid you are using, you'll notice vape and flavour production change, if you're hardly getting any vape and it taste like rotten eggs it is over due

When it starts tasting like crusty sweaty bum. And when the liquid goes black/ tar-ish quickly even though you just filled it up with fresh ejuice. There may also be a taste of burned plastic off the inhale.

I use plain ejuice with no flavours. Coils last a very very long time when it's just clear juice with no dyes or flavours to gunk it up.

What SS said. My strong preference is for tobacco flavours and have settled on House of liquids El Toro juices. Actual tobacco soaked liquids and while the flavour for me is brilliant they chew through coils to beat the band. On the other hand the synthetic "tobacco" flavours I tried didn't(though tasted like muck to my palate). To be fair to HoL they used to be much worse for this. Like killing a coil in a couple of days worse.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
