I'm looking towards a 2011 Opel Insignia. Seems I could get a decent one for about 11k or so so if I trade in against my current car and put 10k to it I'd probably get something good. Does anyone have any opinion on them or experience with them? Looks like a nice car and see lots of them around. Would it be worth going for one or are there better cars for similar money?

    Skoda Superb ??

What makes the Skoda better? I prefer the look of the Insignia but the interior of the Skoda is nicer. How would they compare in terms of reliability and performance?

I've only driven the Opel once. Didn't particularly like it. Cheap plastic switch gear not nice(usual Opel)
I have a superb for 6 years. Lovely drive comfortable and quick. No problems and over 300k. However I think the pricing on the new superb is in the clouds. Don't know about the Opel re pricing.

Ok thanks I'll take a look at the Superb too so. I have heard good things about them from a few people so certainly worth considering

i have a 2011 ecoflex insignia. cheap co2 tax bracket,79 for 3 months. and i love it, very reliable and very easy ran,. i have a 2009 accord before that and i glad i changed, ive heard few stories about 2009 and 2010 models given trouble with electric handbrakes, and i bloody hate it but over all im happy. very good value for money. alot of car for it price,

I have never owned an Insignia but did have the unfortunate need to have one on two occasions as a rental car a week each time.

Won't lie hated them, the interior felt very cheap and flimsy and thought the car handled terribly.
