That's a 'how long is a piece of string' question.
    What length is the perimeter?

Step it out, and there's your answer ! 100 metre rolls of 8 strand hi tensile running around 100 Euro to 125 Euro each. High tensile barbed about 50 euro for 250 metres. Plus posts of course.

Fencing is measured in distance not area. Usually quoted per metre. Price would also depend on the quality of the posts and wire used.

Just after fencing a 4 acre rectangle field 600m long with high tensile wire and creosote posts including 18 strainers and 150 6ft 4/5" post and 1 row barbed wire for €2370 including vat. I put it up myself. Post are very expensive but guaranteed for 15 years

PDM posts have lasted at home very well, (even stood up to getting singed) even the tent pegs ones are lasting. haven't had any problems with the newer ones yet either

If ordinary posts were left to dry out before use, would the last longer too?
