Hmmm, first thing I'd do (and I have no idea if this is possible or would cause this issue) but I'd make sure she's not running the istick in temp control mode. With that out of the way, I'd dismantle and clean the GS Air and put a new coil in it. Wait 5 minutes and vape on it and see if it's better.

Just make sure the coil is screwed in tight.

Check the air flow control isn't completely closed.

I find the GS coils get fierce gurgly when the tank gets about 3/4 empty. The flavour isn't great on them either IMO, nautilius and BVCs much better for me anyway.

Regarding the iStick display on my own. When the ohm and volt values start to rise, is that an indication the coil is on the way out? I haven't changed my watt value from 11.0W, but I'm reading 2.0ohms and 4.6V now whereas before I was reading 1.6ohms and 4.1V.

I noticed the ohms go up as the coil gets older. All the gunk stuck to it affects resistance I guess (I am not a vape scientist).

So I'd say it's time to change the coil. How long have you been using it? Are you using a thick dark juice?

This is more likely a sign of a poor connection between the atomiser / tank / battery.

Make sure each or these parts are tight (within reason).

A better indicator of a used coil is the taste not being great or maybe getting a bit bitter. Often the juice in a tank will start looking a bit dirty too if an atomiser is getting old.

Funny enough on my setup(istick 40tc/kanger sub tank nano) I notice the ohms going down with use. To the degree that my last 1.2 coil went sub ohm and read 0.8 after a couple of days use. I swapped it out for a new one.
