Is air con a must in the Vendee in July?

Just about to book Le Clary plage for July for 2 weeks and have discovered our mobile home wouldn't have air con. I'm raging because it took ages to make the decision on it. Is it a deal breaker? How hot can it get?

A quick google search gave me this.

    Hope that helps,

I wouldn't expect a lot of mobiles to have air con.
Some may have plug-in fans stored away, or some sites have them available for rent?

We arrived in a scorcher of a heatwave last summer (South France), so just had to pick up a portable fan from the local supermarket. Was only around 20 but well spent!
That, and making sure the fridge was stocked up with water and ice creams :)

Unless you get unseasonably good weather air con is not necessary. This summer in early August we had 2 consecutive days over 30C, it was a little uncomfortable to sleep but nothing major. Check out historical weather data on wunderground dot com, there you can see that you are unlikely to need air con in this area.
