Yesterday evening Susie Mitchell took gold in the 40-44 points race. It's been a tremendous week for Susie who had already taken silver in the pursuit and team pursuit and bronze in the TT and scratch races

Orla Hendron was part of the Team pursuit (along with New Zealander Erin Criglington) team and added to her silver haul in her points race yesterday evening with a bronze earlier in the week in the Individual Pursuit

Terry Mackin completed the Irish medal tally with a silver in his TT

Racing finishes today, but I'm not sure we have anyone competing in the championship evennts, however Colin Lynch is going for the paracycling hour record, to be streamed from 2pm here

This has been the best ever performance by the Irish team at this event, and big congratulations go out to all the above along with the support acts including one or two regulars at Sundrive

Colin's attempt unfortunately ruined by a front tyre puncture resulting in a fall 42 minutes into the attempt when he was 40s up on his target. He got back on the bike and looks OK, but it's a massive shame given all the preparation that has gone into this

Absolutely savage going by all, Susie and Orla have been flying, and Orla has done exceptionally well considering she had surgery and a lot of time off the bike during the summer. Terry's a tank!

Woeful bad luck for the hour record, I hope everyone's ok?

Absolutely delighted for Susie, Orla and Terry, all very much deserved!

Would I be right in saying Susie has more World Champion jerseys than any other Irish cyclist?

    How many has she got?

    Two. I think?

Yup I think so Harry. Martyn and Orla have one, now Susie has two!

She picked up gold in the pursuit 2 years ago - yes this is her second

Orla also has 2 - she picked up the points title in Portugal 5 years ago and added to that with the pursuit last year

No, I htink I'm wrong, Orla has two as well.
