    Hi all,

I noticed today that my front drivers side speaker isn't playing any sound. I confirmed this by changing the balance on my radio to right side only and nothing was playing.

This serves as a good opportunity for me to upgrade my car speakers as the standard ones are pretty bad. From doing some research the 2006 Fiesta has 5x7" speakers, I've brought myself some Focal 570AC speakers which should be a exact fit.

My question is to connect the new speakers is it a simple case of unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in? Or do I need any type of adapter for this?

    Thanks!

Just make sure that central tweeter won't prevent it from fitting.

wiring wise, it's very straightforward. You can use crimped connections, or if you're feeling rich, you can buy a wiring adaptor - this is unnecessary IMO.
