    Of Munster, yes.

Well i can tell you im from ulster but from outside the 6. I went to 1 ulster game back in 04 in ravenhill and iv never set foot in it since. It was the 1st time i went to a celtic league match.

Terrible atmosphere. Very unfriendly and didnt feel comfortable there.

Any rugby followers i know follow Munster, Connacht or Leinster.

Really? Ulster fans that come down for matches at the RDS seem very friendly.

    SUFTUM.

If someone gave you an Ulster rugby jersey as a gift would you wear it?

It's one of the four provinces of Ireland, so I'd have no problem with it.

No because it has a union jack flag on it Kappa

    No.

Mainly because I don't like rugby.

I've been in Ravenhill a few times, full of Donegal people supporting their province on matchdays. Odd Monaghan head too.

If you wanna wear it wear it, who gives a crap what anyone else thinks.

It's not Kappa for a start. And there's no union flag on either.

Sponsored by a Cavan firm too

I wouldn't wear the white one but the blue one is nice. I'd wear it if it was brought for me.

Did you really want to say NI football jersey but think, "it's AH, if I stick rugby on it it'll have more chance of being allowed"?

Bet if you started this with "ManU jersey" it would be kicked off to the soccer forum.

Correct-and-right. Iseult and I have a couple of Munster tops/jerseys and a Wallabies one that Saidbh brought me back from Melbourne when she was over there finding her inner Gallah or whatever they're focking calling it nowadays. I'd wear an Ulster one too - as someone said above, if it's good enough for Mr. Bowe... :D

Apart from Athletics, all sports are "made up".
Of course I'd wear it. I'm from Ulster , and used to play.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

I wouldn't. I'm from Connacht and I wouldn't wear a Munster or Leinster one either.

I'd support any of them when they're playing in the European Cup, but I don't see the point of wearing a jersey from an opposing team.

The first "Jersey" was commissioned by Henry VIII in 1538 for his personal Dwile Flonking team, and they were made from the hide of Jersey cows.
