Reccomendations - Decent small Car, 3k Budget

    Hi,

I'm moving to Dublin soon and need to pick up a car sharpish for work. Driving is gonna be around town most days but also a definitely bit of motorways, gonna be doing decent distance drives regularly enough (hard to say exactly how much til I start.)

I like small cars, stereotypical lady driver, not a fan of anything big (to give you an idea, only car I've owned is a KA, doesn't get much smaller and I love driving a Fiat 500.) After a decent, comfortable interior as I'll be spending a lot of time in the car and reasonable fuel economy. Budget of around 3k, could maybe push it slightly if it was gonna be worth it (but don't want to spend more than necessary.)

Sofar I've been looking at Clios (probably around 2005/6 model) or perhaps a Focus? Anything else I should be looking at in particular? Finding the whole thing a bit of a minefield as I haven't owned a car in 6 years.

Any guidance or recommendations would be super!
