I started looking for wedding invitations but I can't justify paying the high prices of say 'Appleberry Press' or websites similar.
Can anybody recommend a place/ website to get invitations made? I'd like something relatively simple with a bow in our colour scheme..I love the pocket folds but these are way over budget. I'd like to spend 400 euro Max for 220 invitations!

I have considered making my own but I'm not a very crafty person so I don't think it would go to well..

    Help!

This was posted in the Wedding Bargains thread recently- it mentions that if you don't want to print them yourself you can bring them to somewhere like Reads to do it for you!

I don't know if it will be suitable for you but I'd say it's worth a look anyway :)

Have a look on Facebook for Bluebell Invitations and another one called Personalised Invitations. They are both irish and local and very reasonable. I got samples off both and they have invites from 1.20 and are quite pretty. I'll try get you the fb links.

I got mine from Foxfordatlier €250 for 100including the RSVPs and these were the more 'expensive' ones they supply worth a look.

Have a look at Nowyouprintweddings.ie. I got 100 invitations with envelopes for €80. They are relatively basic but do the job perfectly. The last wedding I got invited to I got an email after all. Invites I think tend to go into the recycling bin and people tend to put way too much time and money into to them when the guests really don't notice/care!

Got ours here http://www.carboncopy.ie/wedding-scribblers/ great to deal with and we got ours designed to a vague notion we had and they were spot on.

Optimal print have 50% off their invitations until 14th Oct and my friend got her thank you cards there so I know they are good quality. Can get 150 invites for 114 euro including delivery. They have some nice designs it's worth having a look at their website and see if they have anything that suits your theme.

    We just completed ours.

I took a wedding invitation from online, modified it in paint.net, printed it in a professional company, bought envelopes from Amazon.

Invite cost 30e for 80 invites, 12e for 100 envelopes. And what ever a stamp costs.

I suggest you spend a few hours investigating the possibility, it might be easier than you think.
