Hi All, Our dishwasher has been acting up- leaving a heavy gritty scum on all our plates/glasses after the cycle is finished. We've tried more rinse aid, adding salt, cleaning the little water jets, cleaning the filter and it improves briefly(1 or 2 washes) then goes back the same again. My questions are 1: Anyone know of…

Hi All,

Our dishwasher has been acting up- leaving a heavy gritty scum on all our plates/glasses after the cycle is finished. We've tried more rinse aid, adding salt, cleaning the little water jets, cleaning the filter and it improves briefly(1 or 2 washes) then goes back the same again.

My questions are

1: Anyone know of anything else I should be trying?
2: Anyone know of a repair guy who would only charge if the machine is salvagable( Portmarknock/Malahide area)
