Change hall/landing wired stats to more useful alternative?

Rented house, one wired thermostat on landing, one wired thermostat in hall.

I really don't care what temperature those areas are at but they are forcing me to have the sitting room and bedroom either too hot or too cold.

As it is a rented house, I won't be going drilling and wiring an alternative location.

So - is there some wireless option that I can put a wireless temperature sensor in the bedroom and it will open/close the relay in a base unit wired in place of the boggo stat?

    Does that even make sense?

I guess two nests or similar would do the job, but the cheaper and simpler the better to be honest.

Boiler is controlled by a 3 (up, down, hot tank) channel 7 day timer so I really just need something that controls the heat based on the sitting room and bedroom rather than hall and landing.

    Thanks in advance :-)
