    They look unlikely to cause serious injury even if fallen on (not that I want to volunteer to test!)

    Defensive architecture - to stop skateboarding, loitering, rough sleeping etc - is increasingly common and some is quite harsh and damaging to navigation so I expect we will see some injury cases at some point

    No worse (in fact probably better) than hitting a sharp corner of a step. I'm sure there have probably been actions on that basis but it's not exactly a daily occurrence.
