    Been meaning to pickup some of those LED reflector bulbs. Almost twice the price for a similar bulb in woodies.

    Got the twin pack and seem to work well. Dealz have LED bulbs for 1.49 which are good too. 8 euro still seems a lot for a bulb, sometimes they still just don't last long and some of the spotlight LEDs look weird.....

    While the up front cost maybe high, they more then pay for themselves in reduced electricity costs after just 6 to 9 months.

    Good quality ones should last at least 10 years and more like 20 years. Also using good quality ones I've found they give off a much nicer light then even the old incandescent bulbs.

    Costs are coming down very quickly, it is expected that in 5 years, they will be as cheap as incandescent up front (with massive running savings). But I wouldn't hold off for that, they already pay for themselves after just a few months.
