Three year old unit - the lights dimmed for a day and then gave up. Its not the bulbs. Wifey has poor vision and really misses them. Any thoughts ?
Have to say it would put me off buying anything Chinese again.

You should be able to get replacements from any DIY shop, just be sure to get ones designed for a cooker hood as they are subjected to vibration.

If you've tried new bulbs and they're not doing the trick, then, maybe visually check the switch and bulb holders on the extractor.
