Thought this was pretty interesting http://nuclearsecrecy.com/nukemap/

You can choose any location on the planet and drop a nuke on it. You can choose size of the bomb, how it explodes etc. It will estimate the blast radius and casualties/injuries.

According to this dropping a 100 mt bomb on Dublin wouldn't end well :pac:

Seeing as 'people' from Cork don't count any bomb of any size detonated in the city centre results in 0 deaths.

It seems a 1kt bomb, surface detonation, in rathmines, would result in only 3750 deaths.

I suspect the accuracy of this prediction...

If someone dropped the Hiroshima bomb on O'Connell Bridge in Dublin, I'd probably be just about okay if I was at the office. That's oddly reassuring.

13.737 million, between Tokyo and Yokohama.

India's the worst, Mumbai and Kolkata both over 13 million. And as someone mentioned above, 14 million for Delhi.

    Sahara desert, no fatalities :pac:

    I dropped a 20kt bomb on Hiroshima, 48k dead and 97k injured.

I read up on Hiroshima 1945, approx 45k died in the first 24 hours.

System calibration seems fairly ok then.

Is it possible to create a nuclear weapon with a blast radius that's roughly the same shape as Cork?
