Trans male YouTuber's appearance changes after testosterone

    Transgender YouTube personality Jamie Raines recently revealed the dramatic changes to his appearance following three years of taking testosterone hormones.

    He started taking photos of himself when he was 18, and is now 21. There is quite a difference in how he looks today. It is hard to believe he is the same person in the photo on the left.

    The dramatic difference can also be seen in this video compilation of all the photos he took.

    He will feature in an upcoming Channel 4 documentary called Girls to Men which will air next Tuesday.

    Genuinely serious here, it's a pity they didn't take any pictures that'd show the difference in their body over the duration to see the effects the testosterone had on muscle development, especially if they also said they didn't work out during the time. Would be interesting to see if it caused broadening of the shoulders etc.

    He's pretty damn hot! :p I hope he's happy now. He seems to have a supportive family and gf, which is nice to see. Hopefully his story might be of comfort to other trans people.

    Well going by that pic of him on the beach in the Buzzfeed article, his body didn't fill out too badly. His "beach body" is certainly better than mine anyway. :(

    You can't discuss an upcoming television documentary in AH? Strange.

    I've seen stuff in AH that had a much more tenuous link to the charter than this thread.

    Amazing.. I was suprised to see that in Iran the state helps people change sex ( who would know that arabs were so open minded )... Lets hope ireland becomes more open to our wonderful trans(formed) community.

    Not 'helps' so much as offer the choice of gender reassignment surgery or execution for homosexuality. Which would you choose?

    Its not by choice. In Iran, they will kill you for being homosexual. So a lot of gay men have sex changes to convert to Females as its more "socially acceptable". Its literally the opposite of what you think it is. There is more sex changes in Iran per year than the United States, thats extremely disturbing IMO

    My Favourite Transgender youtuber is GiGi Gorgeous. She literally transited over the years on Camera. She went from being Gregory your typical gay teenager to the women she is today. She literally has had the best of the best plastic Surgeon(her family is super rich). Its rare to she a trans female with such perfect plastic surgery
