AppleCare+ Is it worth it?

    Just wondering what the consensus is on AppleCare+? Is it worth it?

    What are the downfalls/negatives of it? What doesn't it cover?

    If I had an iPhone that I lost after 20 months would AppleCare+ provide a new phone of the same model?

    It is not theft / loss cover only a 2nd year of Warrenty with 2 counts for accidental damage in the 2 years at a small excess.

    So if you accidentally drop it into a river is it covered under accidental damage?

    It's covered as long as you retrieve the phone from the river and send it back to Apple for replacement.
