    Hey there,

How do you go about transferring shares from one individual to another? Say father to son. Is there a generic form or would each company usually have its own method?

    Thanks

Your options depend on the form the shares are in ie do you hold certificates, are they in a nominee account, or are they held by bodies such as computershare?

If you hold certificates, drop a line to the company secretary and they should put you on the right road. For nominee accounts, I think you will be bound by the terms and conditions of of the nominee broker so you should either check their website or contact them directly.
