    Hi Folks

    Just looking for peoples opinions.
I'm 30 years old and have only opened a savings account this month as I've all over the place for the past few years with work and College and I recently finished another course to help me with a bit of side earning. I have about €7,000 in my current account and am lodging 100 a month into my savings. I'm single and living at home but paying €60 rent week as I live down in the Shticks!! I was renting in Dublin for 10 years before that.
I work in sales and my current salary is 26k basic with uncapped commission.

Is this the norm for people my age or should I have more to my name? I'm just worried I'm not where I should be.

    What you you all think?

    Thanks

    F

Forget the past. You are not in the worst position but should be aiming to save much more. ( eg all your commission )
