Selling my Diesel Punto this weekend if all goes to plan, I only do approx 30-40km a day 5/6days a week so don't feel like I need a diesel plus I'd like a change to something bigger after having 4 Puntos!

    My musts are:

    Minimum 2005
    Less than 90k miles
    Service history
    NCT
    Max 2.0 litre

Leather seats would be a bonus.

I'm very much on the lines of a 05/06 BMW 318i/320i at the moment. Can get a nice spec'd one in my mileage range with good history for an asking of 5.5k-6k.

I've also been considering an Alfa 159 or GT but I don't know much about them they seem very expensive to maintain?

    Open to suggestions...Mazda 6, A4 1.8 etc

Looking for something comfortable and sporty :)

    Thanks!

I'd defiantly lean towards the mazda 3 if I was you or perhaps a toyota corrolla/auris? Granted both interiors aren't much to write home about but hopefully reliability of both brands would make up for it especially if you are going secound hand?

JohnBoy I've looked at them too, the newer ones look great!

Slinky not a fan of the 3 if I was going for a Mazda it would be the 6, of want something similar size wise.

Of course the corolla/auris are reliable cars I just fancy something bigger up the 2L range for a bit of fun and comfort :) Sick of 1.2s and 1.4s!

Civic really. It's the boardsies car of choice at the moment.

God be with the days when everyone had e46s and Octavias

How's yours doing Colm? Do you have the 1.8?

with your mileage, I would potentially go for a 523 or 525 bm... that or an accord. There are some nice A6's also.

€6k is manageable IMO. They are holding their value very well though.

Indeed, this one looks clean, low mileage, has a bit of tax on it and a long NCT:

Have my eye on 2 or 3 3 series coupes. 02-04. Completely changed my mind, going to save the few bob extra to clear a loan and be debt free- being sensible!

Anyway, I sold the Punto today provisionally, he's collecting it Friday. Onwards and upwards.
