Lanzarote Apartments

Hi, I'm looking at apartments in Lanzarote but I'm looking for a two bedroom apartment. There's two people travelling and each would like their own room, as opposed to sharing a twin room. But whenever I look on the usual sites (trivago, ebookers etc.) it only offers me a one bedroom apartment. Is there any way to search for 2 bedroom apartments on these sites? Without changing the number of people travelling to four.

On booking.com they offer you one bed apartments on the results page, but if you go into each property you usually get the option to select a two bed apartment if they're available.

FWIW, changing the option to four people on booking.com rarely affects the price of an apartment as you're usually paying for the room per night, rather than for the number of people staying there.

We are going to Lanzarote in Jan, we wanted 2 rooms as we have 2 kids and wanted our own room

Ended up going onto DoneDeal, had to contact a good few people but I knew the area as we go most Xmas and I got a 2 bed apartment with pool outside etc for great value. I would look there first.....

Quick tip as well, the person I rented off was very nice, a friend ended up saying they wanted to come and the person knew a good few others in complex so contacted them for us to see if another apartment free....

Might be option instead of travel websites

If I put in 3 or 4 people are staying but only 2 people show up when checking in, will that matter?

No that won't matter in the slightest. You'll be paying what is agreed. That's the monies your chosen location will receive. They won't care if the four or even one turn up. They'll get their money.
You do need to inform them on check-in though so their records will be accurate in terms of numbers of pax on premises.

    Hope that helps,

Ownersdirect is also an excellent source. You are dealing with the owners directly (ah,clever name that) but the search parameters are far better than the likes of done deal etc.
