Is this safe? Don't have Moses basket as have cocoonababy so plan to use that in cot for nighttime.

Wife due in 2 weeks on our first, plan to use buggy downstairs for daytime naps?

We have the donkey, it's very similar. We used it regularly for daytime naps. Even now my two year old often drops off in the buggy if we're out for the day.

Everything I've read so far suggests it's fine for daytime sleep, just not at night.

No it isn't approved for overnight sleeping. We didn't have the space for a moses basket so it was very handy to just use the carrycot part for naps.
