Concorde - latest return to flight plan

It seems each year we get a plan to bring concorde back to life in one form or other. These plans never come to anything generally for three reasons: -

The aircraft owners have no wish to return one to flight
The most likely technical partner, Airbus will not get involved and finally funding which could amount to a serious number even if everything else came together.
The latest plan by Club Concorde will likely come to nothing however they appear slightly different in that there is a distinct lack of infighting within the group, active group members include BA Concorde captains, Technical staff and Brain Walpole, BA head of Concorde operations for a number of years - the man who turned the BA operation profitable. The head of the club used to regularly charter concorde also so a good mix of movers and shakers who were involved with concorde during its time in operation.
Equally importantly, this group are claiming 120 million pounds in available funds for a return to flight.

We had a similar topic running on this acouple of week ago http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057495981

Even with an alledged £120 million in backing, I personally believe its "pie in the sky".

Don't know how I missed the other thread.
Yes, you would have to imagine their are too many issues to overcome, however I was surprised to see some of the names involved, serious concorde people who actually operated it in service both from technical & financial side. These would appear to be far more serious guys than for example the Save Concorde Group who continually seemed to fighting among themselves or some similar group while achieving nothing except spending all funds they received.

I think Willie Walsh is the only man that could realistically make return to (heritage) flight happen. Cant see it happening though.

Some of the stories of concrete filled tanks, butchered systems and chopped up airframes are not correct. From what I can see, any aircraft that was ever a realistic return to flight option was not significantly damaged with concrete pouring etc. Some aircraft were cut up for transportation and certainly those had concrete inserted etc.
Of the BA aircraft, the ones at filton, Manchester and Barbados are pretty much intact although BOAF at filton was in danger of being trapped there with closure of the airport and rumoured housing development on airport grounds including runway.
