Sliding Panels

Ideally looking for an "off the shelf" script that can handle this - I've searched high and low but can't seem to find one.

See my beautifully designed prototype below!!! :)

So essentially the button at the bottom of Panel 1 slides in Panel 2 from the right and moves Panel 1 to the left partially obscuring the background image. The 2 panels slide together in tandem.

Anyways if anybody has any pointer I'd appreciate it.

I thought something like slidebars would handle it without too much fuss but it will only slide in a single panel obscuring the first one.
