Would you look someone up online before going on a date with them?

This is inspired by a question on a dating site.

You have a first date with someone coming up - do you look them up on Google/Facebook/LinkedIn before the date, to try and get as much information about them as possible, or do you prefer the sense of mystery?

For me personally, I always feel really weird looking up people I don't know and find it to be no more than socially acceptable stalking. Plus I like mystery.

Yes, I look them up. Knowledge is power!

No, I don't. Mystery is best.

Nah feck that, it'd be like looking up all the spoilers for a TV show before having even watched the first episode.

No, don't look them up. See how the first meet-up goes, and then do all of your stalker-work.

Probably would peep in through her bathroom window as she undresses - just to check on concealed weapons etc. One cannot be too careful these days.

I always check out people on social media just to see if they went to the University of Life like I did. Maybe we graduated the same year - who knows?

Quick search on redtube can do no harm.

Yes and when I meet them I make sure to get a few strands of hair so I can have the FBI run a check on them, see if they are wanted by Interpol or anything.

Yes, I would want to masturbate to pictures of her to ensure we were sexually compatible.

I love to stalk people on social media anyway, so I'd have already stalked them before they even asked me out on a date tbh :D
