I know this must have been asked a million times before....
My phone has been stolen, thankfully almost all my photos are backed up on Google. But is there any way I can restore my list of contacts? I'm not a tekkie, I guess I'm just hoping that if Google has my photos, maybe they have my contact list.....

They do indeed, all your contacts should have been backed up by default to Google - you can see for sure here.

I'd also recommend seeing if you can find your phone with the Android Device Manager - you can find / lok and wipe it from here too.

Of course - worth asking him to check regardless.

Thanks SO much for the link, all my contacts are there, safe and sound!
As for trying to find the phone....well, it's a long way from here to Marrakech, but thanks for the thought.

By default it saves new contacts made / added to the phone to Google but depending on the OS version and sync preferences, it won't save SIM contacts unless you export them to SD card / external storage and then import them back in and choose "Google".
