    A person who has good freehold title to a property is the full owner, they own and control all the rights of ownership to a property.

    If this is a sale/purchase are you sure it's not good marketable title? Which can include leasehold titles with 70+ years to run. Different banks will have different requirements in that regard.

    You could have freehold title, but it might be encumbered, or rights of way cross the land so might not be "Good" like a piece of land with no sewers, RoW, wires across etc
